ACCESS assisted APT, number 5 in the field of human resources and temporary work, in the sale process of its majority stake to the Polish Work Service Group

July 12, 2017

Access Business Solutions assisted APT' shareholders in the recent selling transaction of 80% of their share capital in four of the group's companies to Work Service Group, one of the top players of HR services and Temporary labour on the CEE market.

In June 2017, APT Group signed the acquisition contract with Work Service Group for 4 companies within APT Group: APT Resources & Services SRL, APT Human Resources SRL, APT Broker SRL and APT Finance Broker SRL. Following the transaction, later in Q4 2017, APT companies providing HR services will be integrated into Work Service brand.

"This transaction, in which Access Business Solutions assisted the seller, as it involved the sale of a leading company in the field, is one of reference for the HR and temporary work services sector in Romania, reconfirming the increased interest of big European players for the local market, due to the favourable macroeconomic context of Romania in the region. The team that worked on this transaction has extensive experience in strategic consulting and merger and acquisition services, providing complete assistance during all stages of the sales process, "said Selcuk Saldirak, founder of Access Business Solutions.

“Today, we are present in 16 European countries and one of our companies conducts its activity even in China. Work Service Group is the largest HR service provider in this part of the continent, so it has been natural for us to select Romania, which is the seventh country in the European Union in terms of the number of inhabitants. We were starting from nothing and for the last 18 years we have built a strong brand which is recognizable among the candidates, among the employers and among the investors. We are present at two stock exchanges: in Warsaw and in London; we account for 18% of the market share in the HR service market, being No. 1 in Central Europe. Nevertheless, the real measure of our success is provision of work to over 1 million persons as well as building of long-term relations with our business partners. It has been possible thanks to our expert knowledge sharing and - what is the most important - reliable service. It would not have been possible without choosing a proper team and fantastic people who stand behind every signed contract and completed orders and thus - satisfaction of our clients. I hope that our activity in Romania will run similarly to our activity in Hungary, where after two years of our presence we have become the market leader” - says Tomasz Misiak, the Co-Founder and the President of the Supervisory Board of Work Service S.A.
